Is the Annapurna Circuit open right now?
No closure is currently reported in the news and official sources we monitor. The live score is 85/100 (Excellent).
When is the best time to trek the Annapurna Circuit?
The most stable seasons are Mid-Oct – Nov and Mar – Apr. Late-monsoon storms (late September to mid-October) can still bring heavy snow high up and landslides lower down.
How high is the Annapurna Circuit?
The highest point is 5,416 m. Above 3,000 m, raise your sleeping altitude by no more than about 500 m a night and add a rest day every 3–4 days.
Which permits do I need for the Annapurna Circuit?
ACAP entry permit; TIMS card. Rules change — confirm with the Nepal Tourism Board.
How is the Annapurna Circuit trek score calculated?
Hourly forecasts for every waypoint, corrected to real altitude, feed six factors: high-point conditions during the pre-dawn window, snow and pass status, landslide risk against the Nepal Himalaya rainfall threshold, trail weather, mountain views and access. Reported closures and severe hazards cap the score.
